Farm2School Intern - Fall 2014
Farm2School is a movement to improve the health of all school-aged children. Through access to nutritious food, and sensory-based garden education, youth learn to appreciate and connect with where their food comes from, leading to improved awareness, knowledge and habits.
In pursuit of this goal, Wellspring has partnered with several school districts in the greater Milwaukee area to provide Farm2School programs. As our program expands to additional classrooms and schools, Wellspring has the opportunity to provide educational training for those interested in learning about and leading Farm2School programs through an internship program. Interns will support the Wellspring Education Director and other staff in providing our established Farm2School programs.
