Wellspring offers a quiet country setting, nestled in the Milwaukee River Valley with gardens and nature trails, woods and meadows, ponds and prairies, an outdoor labyrinth and places to relax and rejuvenate. Yet we are only 35 minutes from downtown Milwaukee.
Wellspring has 6 acres of organic gardens and invites those who want to learn about gardening to come work beside us, attend a class, learn to make nutritious meals from harvested produce and preserve food for the winter.
Wellspring is supported by memberships, donors, volunteers and a small staff. Its facilities are open year-round. Each season has its own special beauty. Come and see for yourself.
