Garden Leader Training
FOr teens, teachers, parents, and community organizers
Do you or someone you know have a keen interest in organic food, gardening, environmental stewardship, community skill sharing, and improving access to fresh foods through school and community gardens?
If you are looking for an opportunity to commit to a weekly experience studying and practicing these skills, apply now for our Garden Leader training program. Interns will participate in 6 hour shifts once a week for 8 weeks over the growing season to earn a certificate of completion, which can be referenced on resumes. Moreover, the skills and experience gained will last a lifetime once put into practice in your community. Now more than ever, we need increased access to fresh food and the skills to grow it. Community and school gardens are a great way to directly act on this need. This program takes place on-farm at Wellspring in West Bend, WI.
