Wellspring has been a member of Hostelling International since 1990. The hostel is open year-round for either individuals or for small groups. The hostel has 7 twin beds with an adjoining bathroom and shower. A private room is available upon request. The cost is $30 per night, and includes bed, bath, linens, kitchen access, free wifi, and full range of the outdoors!
Many folks from all over the world have cherished the tranquil river, woods, fields, and trails at Wellspring. Learning opportunities abound; guests may choose to participate in a class or workshop held at Wellspring. Get in touch with the earth by doing a little hands-on gardening from April through October. There may be a possibility to garden in exchange for some organic veggies grown on-site.
The mission of Hostelling International is “...to promote the education of young people of all nations, but especially young people of limited means, by encouraging them in a greater knowledge, love, and care of the countryside and an appreciation of the cultural values of towns and cities in all parts of the world.” To learn more, and to purchase a H.I. membership, visit hiusa.org/membership.
